The tower at 33 Alfred Street in North Melbourne was built in 1968. It is home to 144 households. Tenancies are managed by the local housing office located in the tower.

In September 2023, we announced that this site will be one of the first to be redeveloped.

This redevelopment is due for completion in 2031.

Expressions of interest open: North Melbourne Community Consultative Committee

We’re establishing a Community Consultative Committee (CCC) for North Melbourne. It will bring together renters and community members to work together to give advice to Homes Victoria on the North Melbourne redevelopment. If you’d like to be involved, please complete the expression of interest (EOI) form by Tuesday 31 December.
